Holiness Is What I Long For - Pastor Brian Kinnett

Holiness Is What I Long For

There comes a point in our faith when it becomes real. We can say all we want about how we trust God and believe He will take care of things as He says, but until our faith is tested we will never know how strong or weak it is.

Each of us are here in this timeline in the place we are now for a greater purpose than daily routines, we may not like our circumstances but God is working our faith, growing us, stretching us, teaching us to wait upon Him.

Whatever you're doing today , wherever you are learn to praise God for bringing you there, trust Him to see you through wherever He has you, and know He is working in you and through you for your good and His glory.

If you have doubt's pray, pick up your Bible and read the story of Joseph a young man sold as a slave by his brothers, falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit because he did the right thing, thrown in prison, forgot about until God wanted him out, then raised to the second highest position in the land.

He had faith, and knew God was with him, and saw the end result not the current situation he was in.

We need to do the same always. God alone is sovereign and nothing and no one will change or stop His plans.

And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on earth, and to keep alive for you many survivors. So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and Lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Genesis 45:7-8
But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
Genesis 50:19-20
